Welcome to Chennai City Programme

Strategic Links India is pleased to announce the launch of activities and services in Chennai. Individual and organisational members are now being welcomed and programmes will be progressively rolled out during 2008.

Members can immediately avail themselves of all the online services, as detailed in the membership services pages, including a new service developed specifically for Chennai, called the Resource Centre. The Resource Centre is designed to assist individuals, who wish to upgrade their skills or qualifications, by providing information on and listings of a wide variety of courses that can be taken both inside and outside the city and also via distance learning methods.

Chennai is an exciting and rapidly expanding city from the business development perspective and Strategic Links India is delighted to offer assistance to members, who wish their stay in the city to be professionally stimulating and fulfilling.

Other: According to demand from individual and organisational members, other services are available, including:

Workshops and Seminars – Sessions by specialists provide relevant and important information on a variety of topics of professional interest. Members are welcome to request workshop topics.
Guest speakers – Speakers are invited to talk about various topics of professional relevance at meetings or members’ round tables. Members themselves are encouraged to share their own professional experiences and several interesting talks have been given by individuals and representatives of organisational members (see Events Completed in City Programmes menu).
Pre-arrival support – Even before arriving in the city, members can begin planning their next career move. We can help you understand the situation regarding your field of expertise and indicate career prospects as well as suggest appropriate plans of action.
Coaching – Individually or in small groups, coaching can help members develop their resumes, prepare for job interviews, or grow their own businesses.
Career Mapping – Career mapping can help individuals clarify long-range career goals and match their experiences with new opportunities for developing and implementing personal career plans.
Members’ discussion groups – Informal evening meetings allow both working and non-working members to interact and network. Sometimes a particular theme will be given to a meeting to address specific concerns or interests of the members.
