The Local Expatriate Spouse Association (LESA) of the United Nations in India is part of a global network around the world. LESA - India is a volunteer organization that assists spouses and partners of the international staff of UN agencies with their career concerns, and provides on-site information as well as assistance to UN families moving to a new location. LESA-India shares information with Strategic Links India and has provided support for research about the legal framework for spouse employment in India, as well as a review of local labor market conditions that impact spouse employment.
